in the contiguous United States. The Inland Northwest’s veritable
wildlife zoo provides challenge, recreation, and adventure for all.
Parks:
Spokane has countless qualities which
set it apart as the gem of the Inland Northwest. One of these qualities
is its parks. The City and County operate over 60 parks. The City’s

Conservatory, Rose Gardens and Japanese Gardens. Riverfront Park, former
site of EXPO ’74, is over 50 acres of greenery, entertainment and

who are consistently ranked in the upper range of national scholastic

Spokane is four-season country, each contributing
to the resident’s unique lifestyle. Situated between the Rocky

activities. The spring and summer also offer a wide range of recreational
