  1. How does the cost of living compare to where I now live?
Spokane's economy is very stable and affordable. Our wages may be below the national average, but the cost of living matches that comfortably.

  2. What about housing? What can I expect to pay?
Housing is very reasonable in the Spokane area. Prices vary, you can expect to find a cozy furnished or unfurnished apartment starting at $400. per month. Houses range from $700. - 800 per month.

  3. What about "scut work"?
We have twenty-four hour IV Therapy support staff and a phlebotomy team, as well as EKG technicians. You will not have to do blood draws, ABG's or EKG's. However, other procedures i.e., lumbar punctures, CVP insertions, etc. are part of your learning experiences in the program.

  4. How many residents do you take each year?
We have eight positions which have consistently filled through the match.
